When Siemens acquired VDO, the company wanted an ad campaign that firmly established the newly merged company’s credentials as an OE supplier.
B+S developed an advertising campaign aimed at automotive part distributors and service retailers that used some of the most effective advertising tools known to man: animals.
While the animal imagery seems friendly at first glance, the ads aggressively took aim at competitors’ unsupported claims of OE quality, and affirmed Siemens VDO as a true OE-quality supplier.
